Connect Claude

Connect Getsitecontrol to Claude on claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app. You sign in to Getsitecontrol in your browser and approve access. You never paste a password, token, or key into Claude.

MCP server URL

https://api.getsitecontrol.com/v1/mcp

  1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, click +, and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Enter a name, such as Getsitecontrol, and paste the MCP server URL.
  3. If Claude asks for the OAuth client, keep Use Claude’s published identity. Leave the client ID and secret empty.
  4. Click Add, then Connect on the new connector.
  5. Sign in to Getsitecontrol, check the account and the app name on the consent screen, and click Allow.

The Free plan allows one custom connector.

An organization Owner adds the connector once:

  1. Open Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom, and choose the Web type.
  2. Enter a name and paste the MCP server URL. Keep Use Claude’s published identity for the OAuth client, then click Add.

Each member then connects with their own Getsitecontrol user:

  1. Open Customize → Connectors and find the connector with the Custom label.
  2. Click Connect, sign in to Getsitecontrol, and click Allow.

In a chat, click the + button → Connectors to turn Getsitecontrol on or off for that conversation. Then start with a read-only request:

List the Getsitecontrol sites I can access. Show their names and IDs, and do not change anything.

Claude’s menus change often. If you see different labels, follow Claude’s own help for custom connectors and use the same server URL.
